Pancake is traveling the world in the postal system of various countries. This means that we are at the whims and timelines of not only the USPS, but the overseas postal systems as well. Who knows how long this project will last!
Since his goal is to see the world, Pancake is visiting his overseas and international friends first. Starting in Wyoming, he will then be making his way to Brazil, then Australia, and then the United Kingdom and Europe. He intends to get as much yummy foreign romaine and exotic grasses as he can. After this, he will make his way around the frozen north, also known as Canada. Once he has made his way through Canada, he will journey back to the United States, and visit the country. Every person he visits will need to add a sticker/stamp to his passport, as well as a description (a couple of paragraphs) of what he did there. We will keep a more detailed account online. Should the photos add up to too much bulk towards the end, Pancake may have you forward them on home to Smiley. E-mail Nurgle, and let her know if things are getting bulky.
Pancake requests that you give a gift to his next host! For the international folk, it would be easiest (and cheapest) as well as the least likely to cause customs problems, if this gift were in the form of a postcard or other paper item. It would be nice if it had a hand-written description of what he did, or even just a signed hello.
Once he reaches the USA, and is merely traveling interstate, the gift can be a little more bulky. Please, nothing expensive though! Something unique to your area, or you as a person, for the next person to share and keep as a memento. It is always great to have a physical souvenir!
The most important aspect of Pancake's travels is the resulting online photo album and diary. For this, everyone needs to take at least one photo of themselves with Pancake at a fun place. Remember, fun for a guinea pig can include the grass in your front yard! At least one copy will need to be made to travel with Pancake. There will be an online photo album to keep track of his travels as well, so everyone can see. If you don't have a digital camera or scanner don't fret--the next person who can will scan him in. Photos should be e-mailed to Nurgle and will be uploaded to an online photo album.
